I just wanted to write a note to say how great I think Colief is. I am sure my now 4-month-old daughter Lilly thinks the same. After a few weeks of screaming every time she was due a feed or have a feed at about two and half months old with terrible Colic these drops were like a blessing in disguise... She is now a bouncy 4 month old and I have just started to wean her off. Thanks god these drops came along as "Gripe water" and "Infacol" are not a patch on these!

I just want to say what a marvelous product colief is. When i had my first baby 4 years ago I was at my wits end coping with my baby's constant crying, after numerous trips to my gp I was told it was colic, I was recommended this product in my pharmacy and couldn't believe the change in her after only 24hours she was like a different baby! 12 weeks ago I had my second baby who also suffered from colic and I knew exactly what to use this time. Hello I have been using colief for 3 days and have seen an unbelievable difference in my baby as if the colic has disappeared but all of a sudden he has had a really bad bout of colic. I have been using colief for about three weeks starting forth week after two weeks i started to cut down and got to three bottles a day without colief but colic returned i have now restarted colief in every bottle therefore i wonder if you could give me advice in how long i could use colief if colic does not subside i find the drops very good and have recommended them to other new mothers.

There are many items on the market that claim this wonderous cure and that wonderous cure but I must admit this is one of the few occasions that a product actually does what is claimed. Sorry this has taken so long to reply, but my beloved husband didn't tell me It had arrived!

The colief was absolutely wonderful, and Luke is now coming up to his first birthday. Although his gripes didn't stop, he was remarkably much better for colief. I recommend this product to any new mum, as I've not seen it advertised anywhere. Many, many thanks once again.

Dear Team, I just had to send you this e-mail to tell you my story. I have a four month old boy and from the day he was born I found that he fed poorly was always screaming, always hungry only slept for two hours max at a time and was always so grumpy. I tried every colic treatment you could think of and nothing worked. I wasn't sleeping at all and was a just a wreck. When he did sleep he seemed to be uncomfortable and was always grunting and trying to move. I was at my wits end. I saw my doctor, my health visitor and even my local hospital (Kings College Hospital in London) neurmous times and they said that he would grow out of it. Last week Monday I visited a local chemist to get my baby some nappies and I saw your product on the shelf I read through the instructions on the back and though that it sounded very good. Unfortunately, at the time I did not have enough money on me and came back for it a couple of days later. I gave it to him on Saturday just gone for the first time and on Sunday night he slept for six hours straight without waking and then once fed slept again for a further four hours. He seems so much better in himself he seems to be a different baby. He is completing all his feeds now whereas before he would only drink half. I start back to work in a few weeks and I can now feel positive about this. Before I was dreading it because of the lack of sleep I would have had. My eldest son who is now 2 had what the doctor called colic although it started later than usual and lasted even longer. He wasn't thriving and i was advised to supplement his feeds with formula which made the problem much worse. At around 5 months I read a small article about Colief and asked the health visitor about it. She'd only heard it mentioned and didn't know anything about it but said it couldn't hurt. I ordered it and within a couple of days the colic had gone. As it was lasting only a couple of weeks and was quite expensive I asked to get it on prescription but was told it had to be proven as lactose intolerance. The tests came back negative but as the colief was working I was allowed it prescribed. It was a Godsend. Now my new son is having the same symptoms and I am going to try Colief again after 4 months of sleepless nights I hope it works! I didn't realise you could use it for breastfeeding. What a superb product, but why doesn't anybody know about it? Not one Doctor, midwife or health visitor has suggested it. We tried other products, but with no joy, but within hours of trying Colief, Zak was a different baby. Nowhere near as much crying except when he needed feeding. Please try to advertise your product to a wider market. I'm sure other parents will need to know, even if it is to get some sleep!!!! Thanks, Chris

Thanks to Colief we now have a life back. We have twins 10 weeks old. One of which developed colic. After two bottles with colief added he was a different baby. He is on first milk while his sister is on second; she sleeps longer even though she is the smaller of the two. Do you think I could switch my son from first to second milk, as he seems to feed more frequent than his smaller sister but with the colief added many thanks Carolyn

I am so glad you have a comments section, as I just want to scream out to the world at the difference in my son since trying Colief four days ago! I am a child minder and foster career and have encountered so many colicky babies, but my own son drove us to despair! If he was not feeding he was crying and even if he fell asleep would jolt from his sleep in agony absolutely screaming with pain it is just horrible to watch him in such obvious pain. He was like a zombie and so were we. Last night was the first real nights sleep we have all had and today my son was lying smiling and gurgling like a real baby and that has rejuvenated me to see this happy baby, it has taken three days to have effect, although there was immediate improvement on trying to wind him. I cannot express enough, my heartfelt gratitude for this marvelous product. (I am breastfeeding and just add the drops into a teaspoon of milk directly before feeding) Thankyou Ada.

My 8 week old baby breastfeeds every two hours - even during the night. Can I express enough milk to last through the night, store it chilled then add the 4 drops when I re-warm it to room temperature. I have been using the drops for 5 days and Jessica is a different baby. Most noticeably the abdominal distention and the number of times her bowels are opened has improved beyond belief. I've tried every colic remedy possible and when i started using colief drops when my daughter was 6 weeks old, they made an amazing difference she was sleeping and feeding well. She is 9 weeks and has started struggling on her feeds again can i increase the dosage, i put 2 drops in 4oz cow@gate plus milk, or should i persevere with the dose i am giving her.also when i think it is time to take her of the drops how do you wean them off? ANGIE has posted the following comment: I PURCHASED COLIEF THROUGH A RECOMMENDATION BY MY FRIEND. MY BABY GIRL EVA DEVELOPED COLIC ABOUT A WEEK OLD AND WAS CRYING ON AND OFF FOR HOURS EACH DAY. WE TRIED INFACOL, DENTINOX, COLOCYNTH GRANULES AND INFANT GAVISCON TO NO AVAIL. HOWEVER AFTER BEING ON COLIEF AT 6 WEEKS FOR 24 HOURS THE DIFFERENCE WAS REMARKABLE. HER CRYING REDUCED TO LITERALLY 10 MINS A DAY FROM HOURS EACH DAY. WE FELT WE ONLY STARTED GETTING TO KNOW HER AFTER SHE STARTED COLIEF. SHE IS NOW 17 WKS OLD AND WE WILL BE REDUCING HER COLIEF IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AS SHE IS STARTING TO GO ONTO SOLIDS. Colief was recommended by my health visitor after weeks of my 10 week old son suffering nightly with colic. As a first time mother I was at my wits end not being able to comfort or settle him, I went out immediately and bought Colief and was amazed at the difference after only a few feeds. He is no longer distressed after feeds. I no longer dread him feeding now. I would strongly recommend this product to other mothers. Its just a shame I hadn't discovered it sooner. Do you advertise? Posters at docors!ante natal clinis/chemists would be a good idea, If my health visitor hadn't used it herself both myself and my son would still be suffering. THANK YOU

I would like to say how impressed my husband & I are with the Colief Infant Drops. I started to use them on our second daughter when she was only two weeks old & developing severe colic. We had gone through 14 weeks of colic with our first daughter & did not want the same experience. I went to a local chemist & he said the drops may or may not work but I was more than willing to give anything a try. The drops worked very quickly. Our daughter is now 9 weeks old & doing very well. She has the occasional bout of colic pain but this only lasts a few minutes, not three hours! We are looking forward to reducing the drops when she becomes 12 weeks old & hopefully the colic will have gone. The chemist has been well thanked & I hope other parents will benefit. I just wanted to tell you that you product is wonderful. There is nothing in the US like it for infants. I have 4 children and all of them are lactose intolerant. My first 3 children had to be put on soy formula because of lactose intolerance, however, our newest addition is doing great and has not needed to be taken off breast milk. My daughter was born in the 25th percentile and is now 6 weeks old and has gained 2 inches in length and almost 4 lbs. Our pediatrician was thrilled and couldn't believe how well she was doing with the breast milk. She has not projectile vomited once since using the Colief. Baby Mia is now in the 75th percentile for her age and looks so healthy. I attribute this to your product and have told everyone that will listen about Colief.

Your product is brilliant!!!! A question that is concerning us though. We are going on a long haul flight to Australia in 4 weeks and are needing to make our baby’s bottle up as he needs it because he is on cow and gate Omneo comfort and cannot be bought ready made. I saw in your information that if you had ready to use formula, to put 4 drops of colief in and use in half an hour. Would we be able to make up his formula and do the same, put four drops in and wait half an hour. Were obviously very nervous of going on a long flight and would like to have peace of mind that he isn’t going to have colic. Colief is the only product that has given our baby total relief of colic. There was nothing we could do to help him - only hold him whilst he thrashed around in pain. I just wanted to say what a wonderful product Colief is! Our son Harry developed colic at 2 weeks old. A Doctor said it may have been a feeding issue and that he couldn't possibly have colic. We looked on the NHS website and it described his exact symptoms, my midwife and health visitor said the symptoms sounded very much like it too, the drawn up legs, intermittent crying, tight tummy with fitful bouts of sleep! My Husband and I tried everything even taking it in turns to stay with him whilst the other got some much-needed sleep. Our health visitor told us about Colief, desperate to relieve Harry of his pain we went out straight away to buy some. The result... after a day or two a happy baby and parents!!! We would recommend Colief to anyone who has a colicky baby.

Dear Sir, I really feel I need to express my gratitude to you for this product. After watching my baby cry and write around in pain for 8 weeks and being told by various doctors that it was 'just colic' I was at the end of my tether. I felt like nothing would solve the situation and even started blaming myself. After coming across colief on the ivillage website from a mother who had used it successfully I brought it the next day, and within 48 hours I had a different baby. I really can't imagine how much worse it could have got if I hadn't have come across colief and now I try to make more people aware of it. Not one of the midwives, health visitors or doctors mentioned anything about lactose intolerance to me and it seems that the only people who know about colief are the ones who, like me, had to reach the very bottom of despair until they discovered it.
